The family-owned business were given the 2017 award for the Milk & Dark Chocolates, and chocolate maker Luke Spencer believes the years of success come from a level of consistency.
”Being recognised again lets us know we’re on the right track,” Luke said.
“Seeing this years results gave us a lot of reassurance - clearly we’re doing something right!”
The Australian Food Awards are Australia’s leading national food awards program, and is conducted each year by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria.
The awards celebrate excellence and the best that Australian food producers have to offer across eight different categories – dairy, meat, poultry, seafood, fresh produce, grains and pulses, pantry goods and convenience foods.

Luke believes that the awards give food producers around the country a chance to show off their products on the highest stage, and gives it a different level of ‘review’.
“We gain really valuable feedback from our customers all the time, but when you’re judged by industry professionals with lots of experience, it’s different and carries a lot of weight”, Luke said.
