A delightful exhibition of weaving is on display in Gallery 47, Rylstone. The loom allows her to engage in the conversation that occurs in weaving between the materials and the structure selected. Kelly uses traditional patterns and techniques within a contemporary art context to develop a signature style. Growing up in Mudgee in the 1970’s Kelly first became interested in learning to spin and weave from the local Spinners and Weavers Guild.
