Hosted by Councillor Sam Paine, on Saturday, September 16, artists including Ingrid Morley, Alex Scheibner, Steve Irwin and Henryk Topolnicki will take participants on the tour where they will provide a unique insight into their own pieces now on permanent exhibition through the Mid-Western Regional Council.
The Lawson Park Sculpture Walk has been curated over several years largely from works showcased at the annual Sculptures in the Garden event (October 7-8).
Steered by the Mid- Western Cultural Development Committee, the collection reflects the natural and cultural heritage of the region.
The walk is free of charge and all are welcome to attend. Participants are invited to meet at the gates to Lawson Park West on the corner of Church and Short Streets from 11am Saturday, September 16.
