Between 3.30am and 4.00am on Sunday, October 8 a male person described as having a slim build, 180cm tall, 85kg, wearing dark track pants, long sleeve shirt, joggers and possibly a black baseball cap has entered the home whilst the occupants were asleep.

One of the occupants woke to see the man in the bedroom. The intruder was pursued by the occupant last seen heading south up Broadhead Road, Mudgee into the darkness and vacant lots of land.

Police arrested and charged a 29 year old Mudgee man following a domestic assault at a home in Lewis Street, Mudgee at 11:30pm on Friday, October 6.

The man has been charged with the offences of intimidation and common assault. He has been refused bail to appear at Court at a later date.
