The outdoor concert brought the rain, as it has done for the last four years, with Mudgee Airport rain gauge recording 2.4mm on Saturday. In 2016, 14.8mm was recorded on the day of ADOTG. The last dry day for ADOTG in Mudgee was back in 2013.
Director of Roundhouse Entertainment Michael Newton described the show as “a lot of fun”. “All the bands were in top form and the crowd were very well behaved.”
“We’ve been getting some feedback about bringing international acts to Mudgee - however due to the smaller size of the venue and accommodation in the area, it’s not possible to bring the big international acts. But we’re always working hard to present top quality line-ups,” he said.
“This year was a slightly disappointing turn-out which was a shame given the calibre of the acts.”
