The Gulgong Terriers will host Warren in the opening round on April 14, the visiting Bulldogs didn’t field a men’s team in the 2017 season.
Meanwhile the Dunedoo Swans will travel to Binnaway to get their year underway – a trip hasn’t been made to the home of the 2004 premiers in the senior competition for a number of years.
Round 1 will also see the grand final rematch straight away with Coonamble hosting premiers Gilgandra.
While locals won’t have to wait long for the always fiery derby with Dunedoo hosting Gulgong in the second round.
The Swans will follow it up by travelling to other neighbours Coolah the next round.
Before the season proper the Castlereagh ladies will contest the annual League Tag Knockout at Coonabarabran on March 24.
The men’s pre-season tournament will be held in Gulgong on April 7.
