And they’ve had the expertise of former silver and bronze medalist in the Beijing and Athens Paralympics (tandem cycling) Toireasa Gallagher.
She is working with the students over a number of cycling workshops to help develop skills in cycling, coordination and safety.
Lue Public School principal, Caron McDonald, said, “my thanks also go to our parents for making sure all students have their own bikes and helmets at school for each of the three workshops. There was lots of fun, skill development and cooperative learning”.
