A TEENAGER has died after a single-vehicle crash at Cudgegong, south of Mudgee.

Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash on the Castlereagh Highway about 8.30am.
Police have been told a four-wheel-drive utility was travelling down an embankment on a private property and skidded.
As a result an 18-year-old front male passenger was ejected from the vehicle. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and later died.
The driver, a 17-year old boy, was taken to Mudgee Base Hospital for treatment for minor injuries while other passengers aged between 17 and 19 were not injured.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation with assistance from Crash Investigation Unit.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
