Both Kandos sides will look to bounce back at Lithgow on Saturday

Kandos’ round four trip to CSU was a forgettable one as both the Waratahs and Tiaratahs fell to the students by single digits.

Because of this, Saturday’s trip to Tony Luchetti Sportsground can’t come quick enough for the red and greens as they look to return to their winning ways in round five of the New Era Midwest Cup.

While neither game is a certainty, Kandos will fancy its chances as both Bears’ sides are winless, each holding an 0-4 record.

Tiaratahs’ captain Emma Ashford knows her team is capable of bouncing back but isn’t counting out a Lithgow side that will be hungry at home.

Lithgow always come fired up on the field and we love to play them,” Ashford said.

“It gets so competitive on the field but we’re all friends when the game finishes.

“Last week we were down six players and I think we held our own very well.

“There are definitely some attacking aspects that we need to work on.”
