Every time Mudgee hosts a major sporting event, one question many people have is ‘how many people came through the gates?’.

The current Glen Willow crowd record is 9,133, a number set during the Charity Shield and beating the previous record of 9,132 by just one.

The official crowd number for the round 11 match between the St George Illawarra Dragons and Canberra Raiders was officially listed as 8,962, just 171 shy of the record.
