Joseph Lee Jervis, aged 39, of Nicholson Street, Mudgee, was clocked driving at 157km/h on the Castlereagh Highway at Ben Bullen, on the afternoon of December 29, 2017.
Magistrate David Day read out Jervis’ comments to police, “I though I was doing 140km/h”, before questioning “does that make it better?”
