The red and greens are fresh off a 36-0 thumping of the Blackheath Blackcats, their second shutout victory in-a-row.
Emma Ashford and Claire Warton accounted for five tries on Saturday as the pair are the competition’s leading try scorer and point scorer respectively.
Ashford’s group has conceded just six points in three weeks of action, a feat that’s attributable to hard work and commitment.
“We have been low in numbers at training recently but the girls who are there are all putting in,” Ashford said.
“The girls are very supportive in defence and it shows. I think it's all down to good teamwork.
Our defence is something we have always been proud of, stats in the last two games have shown our fullback hasn't even had to make a tag.”
The win over the Blackcats was the Tiaratahs’ second convincing result against them this season and gave the entire team a chance to fine tune themselves before the whips get cracking.
“Everyone played well on Saturday and the scoreboard reflected that,” she said.
“The girls who have been working on certain aspects of their game really excelled on the weekend. That pleased me.”
The side’s only loss came against perennial powerhouse CSU yellow as the Tiaratahs fell 12-6 at the university just three weeks ago.
While Ashford believes her side can go all the way, set pieces have stood out as an area needing improvement as synchronicity has been an issue during crunch time in 2018.
“We are still working on putting our plays into games we seem to struggle to complete them come game day,” she said.
The Tiaratahs will look to notch their sixth win of the season on Saturday as they host Orange after beating the Barbarians 12-10 back in the second round of the season.
The competition is still being led by the CSU sides as Blue and Yellow rank first and second respectively after they both notched wins at Portland on Saturday.
Yellow won 22-8 before Blue won via forfeit.
Kandos sits on 10 competition points alongside CSU yellow but trails the students on for and against.
