“They participated in a discussion, watched video clips and had a fabulous tour of the facility where they examined the tools used by dentists and hygienists,” principal Caron McDonald said.
“Students have been learning about oral health at school and this excursion complemented their studies at school.
“They understand the importance of oral health and the contribution it plays to overall good health.
“A teeth brushing program at school ensures all students brush their teeth every day.
“My thanks to Liyana Tanny (specialist in therapy and oral health at CSU) for making it such a fun and engaging event.”
