Not sure what to do these winter school holidays?

The Mudgee Guardian has put the call out to the community asking for those with holiday activities to share them with us.

So we are collecting all of the events and information we can so you won’t be left out with nothing to do!

Day View Club: Our next meeting and luncheon is on July 6 at the Mudgee Golf club.

Monday, July 9 

PCYC Fun:  School Holiday fun at PCYC Mudgee! We have a number of different activities to choose from including: Soccer, Archery, Laser Tag, Ball Games and Science Experiments

Lovely Ladies: CWA Evening Branch are having their next meeting on Monday, July 9 at 5.50pm, 48 Market Street. If you are new to town or not and would like to meet a dynamic group of ladies please drop in, we would love to meet you. Contact Annie on 0457 426 480.

Knights of the King: Children in Kinder to Year 6 are invited to join a merry medieval quest over the first week of the school holidays as part of Mudgee Baptist Church’s latest Holiday Club. 

There’ll be games, music, drama and wacky challenges plus a delicious morning tea, all in a safe and accepting atmosphere with a trained team of leaders.

Knights of the King runs from 9th to 13th July from 9.30 to 12.30 each day.

Freestyle: We’ll supply the material, you supply your imagination. Mudgee Library. For ages three to five and it is a free activity from 10am-11am.

Wednesday July 11

Fabulous Fun: The Mudgee Lions Club Family Fun day is happening again on Wednesday, July 11. Some awesome school holiday fun for the kids. From 10am-2pm Rugby Clubhouse grounds, Jubilee oval. There will be jumping castles, obstacle course, face painting and lots more.

Holiday Fun: Rainbow snake and rock art. Wednesday, July 11 Mudgee library at 2pm. For children six to eight years, $5. For bookings call 6378 2740.

Family Fun Day: Mudgee Lions Club are holding a Family Fun Day in the Rugby Clubhouse grounds on Wednesday, July 11 from 10am to 2pm.

Carnival games, jumping castle, obstacle course, face painting, fairy floss, popcorn and loads of prizes.

Thursday, July 12

Holiday Fun: Playdough fun. Thursday, July 12 Mudgee library at 2pm. For children three to five years, $5. For bookings call 6378 2740.

Friday, July 13

Holiday Fun: Tea light candle holders and colourful lanterns. Friday, July 13 Mudgee library at 10am. For children nine to 12 years, $5. For bookings call 6378 2740.

Mudgee Small Farm Field Days: July 13-14 2018 at the Australian Rural Education Centre. The Central West NSW’s premier field days event, with an extensive range of demonstrations, talks, lectures.

Since 1977 the event has been connecting people living on the land with suppliers of the widest possible range of goods and services. The two day event thrives on the opportunity for business, learning, and an enjoyable family day out.

Monday, July 16

Crafternoon: Monday, July 16 2pm-4pm. Lots of different crafts to sample or sing your teeth into. Survival bands, badge making and tie-dye. Bring along a light coloured content t-shirt or bag and give it a permanent dose of your own artistic flair. Kandos Library, free. Mid-Western Regional Youth Council.

Tuesday, July 17

Crafternoon: Tuesday, July 17 2pm-4pm. Lots of different crafts to sample or sing your teeth into. Survival bands, hama beads and badge making. Express your style in this fun up-cycling activity and create your own funky badges. Make some for yourself and for friends. Gulgong Library, free. Mid-Western Regional Youth Council.

Science Circus: Join us for fun and learning as we use experiments to learn how things work. For ages three to five from 10am-11am, free. Mudgee Library. For bookings call 6378 2740.

Wednesday, July 18

Mug Decorating: Make your very own special mug to enjoy nice warm drinks on cold winter nights. For ages six to eight $5 per child. Mudgee Library. For bookings call 6378 2740.

Thursday, July 19

Dodgeball: Thursday, July 19 2pm-3.30pm Victoria Park, Mudgee, free. Get your blood pumping on a cold winters day with dodgeball fun. Grab your friends and try to be the last person standing. Enclosed flat footwear must be worn. Mid-Western Regional Youth Council. 

All About Wool: Join us for a spinning wheel demonstration as we learn about wool, and make a wooly sheep mobile. For ages three to five $5 per child. Mudgee Library 2pm-3pm. For bookings call 6378 2740.

Plaster Painting: Choose a plaster mould to paint and decorate any way you’d like. For ages six to eight, $5 per child. Mudgee Library. For bookings call 6378 2740.

All Ages Concert: Justice Crew will be performing at Parklands Resort Mudgee on Friday, July 27. Mudgee Visitor Information Centre, 84 Market Street, Mudgee or online at www.visitmudgeeregion.com.au. The concert is all ages.
