The Gulgong Terriers now have the Boronia Cup after they defeated the Binnaway Bombshells at The Crater on Saturday to claim the silverware and the much sought after two competition points

In conditions described as abysmal the Terriers took a hard fought game 24-12, outscoring the home side five to two in the try count. Brad James and Dave Morrison scored a pair of tries with Brent Warwicker also crossing. The win strengthens Gulgong’s push towards minor premiership honours and maintains the club’s four point buffer over second placed Gilgandra.

Their League Tag side opened the day on a winning note with a big 50-12 victory. Chloe Pennell racked up four tries, Tayla Riley three, with Dayna Manly and Emily Kirk also getting on the board.
