Mudgee Preschool plants trees, buys bales | Photos

Mudgee Preschool held a planting for National Tree Day today, while at the same time fundraising for 200BALES.

The children dressed up in “farmer’s” clothes for the tree planting and their families have been asked to make a gold coin donation.

So far they’ve raised $632 this week, with another planting next Wednesday still to come.

And staff have also raised $200 for a bale.

The planting took place at Putta Bucca Wetlands, in a location recently added reserve where some new trees are welcomed.
