Zone 4 is a large selection area featuring thousands of players that are all vying for the same positions.
In the adult ranks, Jae Marskell and Anthony Rich were selected with Jae to skip one of the triples teams with Rich playing second for him in the same team.
Lee Stintson of Orange and 17-year-old Jono Davis of Mount Lewis will skip the other two sides.
Jono recently won his fourth NSW under 18s Singles Championship and has been touted as a very soon to be Australian team representative.
The Zone 4 teams will be competing against Zones 1, 9 and 11 on Sep 8/9 at the Wagga RSL Bowls Club.
In the junior ranks, 11-year-old Tom “Billy-Ray” Rich and his little brother Sam Rich, both of the Mudgee Bowls Club, have also been selected in the Zone 4, seven-a-side Junior representative team to play off in the NSW Junior Championships.
Billy-Ray will be playing Pairs in the A side and Sam will be playing Singles in the B side. The boys will be playing a minimum of five games at the West Dubbo Bowls Club towards the end of August.
The semi-finals and final of the Handicap Pairs will be played at the Mudgee club this Saturday with D Menchin and L Alcorn to take on M Byrnes and D Buckley in one semi and A Rich and W Jones to play S Shannon and Billy-Ray Rich in the other after the four teams won their respective quarter finals last weekend.
