The scores were calculated on the aggregate of the top ten scores for each team. After our home game in Round one, Mudgee held a handy lead of 363 points to 334 points. However, home ground advantage is a massive advantage and the Henbury players certainly gave it their all.
The Round two results were Henbury 301 points and Mudgee 285 points.
Therefore, the overall result was a win to Mudgee 648 points to Henbury 635 points ... a win to Mudgee by a mere 13 points. Apart from the overall victory, highlights were the scores of the top two performers when David Halpin (36 pints) took the major prize ahead of Bruce Bell (36 points) who was edged out in a countback to claim second prize.
