“Mudgee was chosen because of the warm welcome already shown to our travelling members, the compact and comprehensive retail precinct and the area’s many world class attractions,” she said.
“We will be running a daily shuttle bus into town each day and local businesses will benefit from this sudden increase in population.
“All our requirements, including catering, entertainment, tours etc have been sourced locally. Supporting small business in a big town. We are also supporting the Buy-a-Bale Campaign at the Rally.”
“Many thanks go to the Mid-Western Council’s general manager, Brad Cam and his team, the Show Society and other community groups who have given us their full support in bringing this event to Mudgee,” she added.
The Solos Network is a support group for people travelling alone, people who have become Solo travellers for whatever the reason.
Members of the Solos Network meet twice yearly as an opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new ones and have a jammed packed week of social activities designed to lift their spirits and improve their confidence to move on in life.
