Raymond David Clissold, aged 33, of Samarai Road, Whalan, was also disqualified for a further 12 months for the charge ‘Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period – second/more offence in last five years’.
Clissold was stopped by police in Lewis Street, Mudgee, at about 4.30pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in order to conduct a random breath test.
Although producing a negative result for alcohol, he couldn’t hand over his licence and admitted “I don’t have one”.
Police checked his identity on their mobile data terminal, using a bank card, which showed he was disqualified until 2019.
Clissold was convicted of ‘Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period’ in Penrith Local Court in June 2017 and further disqualified, and again at Blacktown Local Court the following August and this time placed on a two-year good behaviour bond as well.
