The students found interest in the various futures available to them from attending University, or taking a position in Mining or the Mid-West Regional Council, the Police force, The Rural Fire Service, The NSW Royal Fire Service, Real Estate and various others employers.
I found it interesting that so many girls were getting information from the mine representatives.
Lloyd Coleman from Peabody Energy told me “We have many ladies working in the mines and they are very good at what they do, especially driving the vehicles.” he said.
