How long have you been drag racing for?
- 7 years
What is it that you love about it?
- I love the adrenaline and meeting new people.
What got you first involved in racing?
- As a young adult in Sydney, I played with cars and made a habit of restoring them. I also watched drag racing on TV and raced go karts as well as attending Sydney drag way on numerous occasions. I also was a crew member for drag boats.
Who is your favourite racer in any form?
- John Zappia (drag racer) and Peter Brock (V8 Supercars)
What would you say to people thinking about drag racing?
- You need deep pockets or a sponsorship which we are struggling to get
How far have you travelled doing the sport?
- Furthest we have gone is Warwick, Queensland, but have gone to Wellington, Gunnedah and Sydney
Any scary moments?
- Nearly had a collision when another car crossed into my lane and nearly hit the wall
Ritual before races?
- Keep calm and try to slow my breathing down and relax before I leave the line
Secret to success?
- You need to be on top of your game with cars like these otherwise they can bite you
