Twenty seven Veteran golfers took to the green on Tuesday to challenge themselves in the single stroke round for the Oscar Tolomeo Trophy.

Terry Bedford produced a fine round of golf to deliver a score of 68 Nett, three under his handicap.
Bedford began powerful and kept his nerves in tack on the back nine.
Second place called Trish Jones with a score of 69 Nett, whose efforts were impressive considering she started the event without her clubs.
Jones achieved a par on all of the Par three holes.
Third place showcased a three-way countback on 70 Nett which saw Ron McDaniel knock out Jeff Williamson who came in fourth, with David Halpin just missing out.
Ball winners were David Halpin, John Novak, John Farkas, Alex Nicholson, Paul Moore, Barry Hadaway, Doug Thomas, Gregory Llewelyn, Tom Cooke, and Stuie Campbell.
The winner of the Soldiers’ Motel NTP on the 11th hole was Barry Hadaway whose tee shot finished 860cm from the flag.
The season ends next Tuesday for the year long events.
