Going pink in their very own special way, the dirt bike club will host a Coalroc Pink Up shootout on October, 20.
The shootout, inevitably the club’s round six, will showcase local talent once again, whilst focusing their efforts on fundraising for Mudgee’s ‘Pink Up’.
This event was planned and ready to go this time last year, however a cancellation was called after weather warnings permitting the track unsafe for riders.
Ultimately, this is the first shootout of its kind in Mudgee and the local community are encourage to go along, maintaining the spirit of ‘Pink Up’ Mudgee.
Promotions Officer for the Mudgee and Districts Motorcycle Club, Briony Pendlebury said the new form of entertainment is definitely not to missed, especially since it’s all for a worthy cause.
“We believe it will be a fantastic event to bring a new type of entertainment to the area during ‘Pink Up’ and to raise money for a great cause,” she said.

“We are anticipating a good turn out of entries across the board exceeding 200 competitors on the day.”
The event is not only a benefit to the whole Pink Up spirit of Mudgee, but also for local businesses as the event is set to attract hundreds of visitors to the region who will more than likely make use of what the community has to offer.
“Most people bring families to events which can mean we are attracting several hundred people who are going to shop, eat, sleep and play in Mudgee,” Pendlebury explained.
Coalroc have partnered with the Mudgee and Districts Motorcycle Club, who will be lending their helping hand to the shootout by providing a solid set of prizes up for grabs for the ones who reign supreme on race day.
The older riders will not only be on show, but also the younger generation of riders from across the region, as the youngest of riders will start from the age of four.
With an extra race on the day, all of the proceeds raised from entries will be donated to the McGrath Foundation, alongside the donations from generous spectators.
The Coalroc Pink Up shootout will be held this Saturday, October 20, at the motocross track at AREC on Ulan Road, Mudgee.

“Anyone who is thinking of coming along will have an action packed, adrenaline filled day of entertainment.”
