“The 2019 women’s rugby league season will see the continued growth of females playing the full version of the game with the Western Women’s Rugby League Championships expanding in both team numbers and divisions,” she said. “Next year Group 10 will have additional teams in the competition and an Under 15 division will be played for the first time, joining the under 18s and open teams that played in the inaugural championships played earlier this year. The Castlereagh teams proved to be very competitive this year and to ensure that we build on that success we are conducting a talent identification day on Saturday in Gilgandra. The day is open to anyone who has an interest in playing rugby league for Castlereagh next year in any of the grades, under 15, 18 or open.” Contact Angela, 0431 543 641.
