In the Mudgee Performing Arts Society’s production of the play Noises Off by Michael Frayn, there is certainly a lot happening behind the set to create distractions for those on the stage.
A thrown-together drama company is attempting to stage a bedroom farce featuring a lot of doors and glimpses of underwear but as if that wasn’t complicated enough, add in a couple of love triangles between the actors plus a bit of sabotage and you have a recipe for disaster.
Noises Off, directed by Helen McLennan, is a rollicking comedy that will keep the audience in stitches as they watch the antics of the cast both on and off the stage.
Come along to the Town Hall Theatre on the November 14, 16 or 17, for an evening of laughs and hilarity.
