Day in the Dirt, supporting 200 bales, doubles as an upbeat event for people across the region, while also providing some support to local farmers.
The ultimate family day out has everything you need to enjoy some time away - music, food, fun and time to relax, while keeping struggling farmers at the core.
Only in its first year, the event will showcase seven local acts - Dan Hull, Tom and Ando, Whicked Whiskey, Farmers salami, BMW, Brothers 3 and Jess Holland - with multi award winning artist, Darren Coggan as the headline act.
One of the five organisers of the event, Caz Sabin, said the team are expecting a good turn out based off the response they have received from the community.
“We’re hoping for a really good turn out, especially since there has been quite the buzz about the event around town,” Ms Sabin said.
On site, there will be a plethora of food selections including the classics (sausage sangas, hot chips, hot dogs) as well as gourmet ice cream, a coffee van and a fully licenced bar.
“We’ve got pretty much everything covered,” Ms Sabin said.
When asked if the event is likely to turn into an annual calendar mark, Caz said it is dependent on how the day goes.
“If we survive this one,” she laughed.
On the day, 100 per cent of profits raised will be donated to 200 bales.
Everyone has got to come, it will be a really really good afternoon.
