Phillip Blasi of Denison Street, Mudgee, was charged with ‘Possession of equipment for administering prohibited drugs’.
At about 4.30pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, police were speaking with an associate of Blasi at the licensed premises who admitted to using drugs in the days prior.
The pair were searched and he was found to be in possession of a glass pipe – used for smoking methamphetamine - hidden within a sunglasses case in his pocket.
Blasi was not before Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, but submitted a written plea of guilty and asked that he be sentenced in his absence.
Magistrate David Day noted the courteous nature of the email and that the defendant closed with “thank you your majesty”.
