Amy Elise Beddowes, aged 23, of Banjo Place, Parkes, was fined a total of $440.
The AVO was put in place after Beddowes sent the victim threatening text messages.
On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, she messaged the victim pretending to be a family member of their partner, before calling and questioning them.
It was at this point that the victim figured out who it was, told her about the AVO and hung up.
On the weekend of June 23-24 Beddowes sent further messages – via text and Facebook – and the victim reported the matters to police.
When the two charges of ‘Contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (personal)’ were before Magistrate David Day he noted, “although she has no prior record the number of contraventions require a conviction’.
