“A lot of corporates are coming through Sydney and Melbourne to do corporate meet-ups, also there are training groups for a lot of the farmers in how to store seed and plant seed.
“Most places are all booked out through the week, it's all corporate, the weekend is more quiet for us, it depends because we have wineries who have a lot of conferences going on during the month and during the weekend,” Mrs Jones said.
According to Mrs Jones weekend winery tours are also a big leisure attraction for people aged 20 to 40 years.
Grand Motel co-mangaer Greg Jones said the motel is expecting to be booked out for almost the entirety of February as the Little Athletics Griffith will be hosting a regional carnival.
Griffith Caravan Village manager Debbie How said most of the domestic tourism she has been receiving is from return visitors.

“The Vietnam veterans reunion was on in November and we had no cabin space and had quite a few campsites booked out, they are all return customers. In June we have the Griffith Sikh Games going on an we are fully booked for then,” Ms How said.
Ms How said most of the new faces she sees looking for reservations in town are grey-nomads who have been past Griffith but have never taken the time to stop-by before.
