The course and the condition were the winners on the day for the majority of players except for the five players.
Our overall winner was Brian Insull (37c/b) who needed all his skills to edge out Terry Bedford (37) in a tight count-back.
As always, Brian was probably the ‘hottest’ golfer on the course not just because of his winning score, but also for the fact he regularly drives his ball down the centre of most fairways.
Taking third place in another count-back was Kel Wilton (36c/b), who edged out Merrie Llewelyn (36).
Ball winners were Merrie Llewelyn, Greg Llewelyn, David Evans, Bruce Bell, Barry Hadaway, Alex Nicholson and Jeff Williamson.
The Soldiers’ Motel NTP winner on the 11th hole was Rod Wilson who nestled his tee shot 895cm from the flag.
