Due to having seven rinks, the singles match was not played out, however instead a mixed pairs, women and men pairs, triples, fours was played.
Gulgong (131) won four rinks to Mudgee’s (127) three on the Master Scoreboard, taking out the memorial trophy.
The winners were presented with the trophy from Robyn Stoney of Glencore, while a presentation of appreciation to the sponsor was handed by Cecily Conroy’s grandchildren, Hamish and Lindan for their ongoing efforts.
It was a very enjoyable day had by all. We are ready for the next inter town challenge.
- Organiser, Neville Buckley
“This is the second year we’ve [Gulgong] had it and so we sort of reclaimed the trophy but it was great.
“It didn’t really matter who won but it’s always better when you do win.”
