The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) issued a severe weather warning at 2.52pm on Monday and said that the thunderstorm would bring heavy rain and damaging winds.
As the storm swept through the Mudgee region, many intrepid photographers pulled out their cameras and snapped away, later sharing them with the Mudgee Guardian community on Facebook.
