Suspension bridge closed for Charity Shield and other ways to get to the game

The Glen Willow suspension bridge will be closed on Saturday, March 2 for the 2019 Charity Shield clash between the St George Illawarra Dragons and the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The only walking route from the Mudgee CBD will be via the Holyoake Pedestrian Bridge.
People are also encouraged to use a free shuttle bus service that will be operating throughout Mudgee CBD.
Services will pick up and return from the below locations.
- Mudgee Racecourse, Ulan Road
Mudgee CBD loop and stops:
- Mudgee Tourist Office, Market Street
- Mudgee High School, Perry Street (Victoria Park side)
- St Matthew’s Catholic School, Lewis Street
Mudgee West loop and stops:
- Nicholson St, near pine trees
- White Circle & Banjo Paterson intersection (south)
- White Circle & Banjo Paterson intersection (north)
- Ingenia Holiday Park, Bell Street
- Cox Street, opposite West End Food Store
A low-floor bus will be available for patrons requiring assistance.
Parking
Limited parking will be available at the Mudgee Racecourse with a $2 donation to volunteer groups, payable on entry. Parking is available at all shuttle bus pickup locations. Strictly no public parking will be permitted at the venue or on Pitts Lane on game day.
Note: Vehicles displaying a disabled parking permit will also be granted access to the car park areas on Pitts Lane directly
