Tiffany Louise Teale, aged 32, of Winbourne Street, Mudgee, tested positive to cannabis and methamphetamine when she was stopped for random breath and drug testing on the Ulan Road at Mudgee on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. She admitted to police that she had been using both drugs.
Leah Maree Denford, aged 41, of Atkinson Street, Mudgee, tested positive to cannabis when she was stopped for random breath and drug testing in Nicholson Street, Mudgee, at about 12.25pm on Friday, November 16, 2018. And told officers "I had a smoke last night".
In noting Denford's lack of antecedence, Magistrate David Day said that she possibly could've avoided the criminal conviction, fine and disqualification, "if she came to court".
