That's according to the latest data from the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR).
Data showed there was a rise in the number of domestic and non-domestic violence related assaults, and fraud incidents in the 12 months to December 2018 compared with the same period in 2017.
For instance, there were 128 domestic violence related assaults in 2018 compared with 107 in 2017.

Similarly, the non-domestic violence related assaults went up slightly from 115 in 2017 to 116 in 2018.
The number of fraud cases increased from 85 in 2017 to 98 in 2018.

There was a dip in the number of break and enter a dwelling and break and enter a non-dwelling incidents in the Mid-Western local government area.
The number of sexual assaults incidents came down from 37 in 2017 to 26 in 2017.
The incidents related to stealing from a motor vehicle has dropped significantly from 123 in 2017 to 79 in 2018.
