Guests will have 21 iconic venues and experiences to choose from including cellar doors and cafes.
With samples on offer from locally crafted food and drink matches discovered by wineries, breweries, cafes and restaurants, the weekend is expected to showcase community collaboration that Mudgee has become known for.
Mudgee Region Tourism CEO Cara George says she is predicting record numbers from visitors keen to get a taste of Mudgee.
"Each year the annual Mudgee Region Food and Drink Trail brings locals and visitors to the region to experience our food and wine, and this year, we expect to see record numbers," Ms George said.
"The Mudgee Wine Association does an incredible job in profiling our cellar doors and wine offerings, working closely with owners, wine-makers, breweries, restaurants and cafes to amplify the experience each year."
Participating venues include Artisan on Lewis - Art Gallery Cafe, Blue Wren Winery, Bunnamagoo Estate Wines, Burrundulla Wines, Elephant Mountain Wines, Gooree Park Wines Cellar and Pantry, Huntington Estate, Lowe Wines, Moothi Estate, Mudgee Brewing Co, Parklands Resort (With Manners Wine), Pieter Van Gent, Robert Stein Winery and Vineyard, Rosby Wines and Guesthouse, SHORT SHEEP Micro-Winery, Skimstone Wines, Slowfox Wines, The Cellar by Gilbert, The Tasting House, Thistle Hill Wines and Walter Wines.
A hop on/hop off bus service will be run throughout the day, transporting guests between each venue, operating from 10am to 5pm on Saturday March 23.
