Van Gogh in the Vineyards is a fun night out and social event that you can enjoy with friends, work colleagues etc. The first one is being held at Moothi estate, participants come along for a 2.5 hour session which includes three drinks, food and step by step tutoring from our amazing art teacher who will help people create their very one take home masterpiece.

The Gulgong RSL Sub-Branch will be holding its annual Commemoration Ceremony for Indigenous Service Personnel and War Widows on Sunday, April 4 from 11am at the Memorial Garden in ANZAC Park, Gulgong.
Dawn service will assemble outside the old Gulgong Fire Brigade building no later than 5.45am. The March will set off at 5.55am and will arrive at the Rotunda at 6am.
Each year at 9am the Sub-Branch members, representatives of the Police Force and members of the Johnson family gather at Gulgon Cemetery to hold a commemoration at the grave of Constable Athol Johnson who was murdered on ANZAC Day in 1958. Joe was a returned serviceman from WW2 who was murdered in the execution of this duties on ANZAC Day. Any members of the public wishing to pay their respects are welcome.
The Day service will assemble outside the old Gulgong Fire Brigade building no later than 10.15am. The parade will form up at 10.35am and will march off at 10.50am to arrive at the Rotunda at 11am.

We will be holding a Trash and Treasure on May 18 and if anyone has items, they would like to donate if would be appreciated, contact 0407 273 447 for arrangements for goods. The funds raised from the Trash and Treasure and all fund raising goes towards sponsoring disadvantaged Australian children with their education.

Glen Willow Stadium in Mudgee will host the first ever Mudgee Night Glow on Saturday, May 25. The evening will include a family friendly night market offering some of the region’s best food, wine and hand-made crafts, along with live musical performances to entertain you.
Friday, June 28
Free to enter competition. Mudgee Valley Writers are currently hosting a free to enter writing competition for people living in the Mid Western Council area.
The Council have sponsored the competition and it is open to all age groups. The theme is "local". Word count up to 2000 for prose or 48 lines for poetry. Awards for both prose and poetry sections: first $100, second $75, third $25 plus certificates at Judges' discretion.
