If horses for courses holds any sort of weight ahead of Saturday's Newhaven Park country championship final, then Cameron Crockett's gun sprinter will relish running at Royal Randwick.

The five-year-old gelding has enjoyed two starts at the Australian Turf Club and produced arguably the two best runs of his career, a win and a second-place.
Both of those runs were over 1200m and Saturday's $500,000 country championship final is over a further furlong, a trip Crockett says still holds plenty of question marks for Ori On Fire.
"But we'll find our once and for all on Saturday," Crockett said.
"He's had a perfect preparation. It's been faultless. He'll run as well as he can.
"The 1400 run, whether or not 1400 is his pet distance is the big question mark. We're not sold there."
But the Mudgee-based trainer is sold on his gelding's form at Randwick.
"Definitely, it's a huge bonus, having won there before. It's horses for courses, mate. Two starts there for a first and second," he added.
I feel like he was probably the best horse in the qualifier and one of the best on Saturday, too.
- Cameron Crockett on Ori On Fire.
Crockett qualified for his second tip at the country championship final with Soul Secrets after the his promising mare relishing the bit of give in the Mudgee track to hold off Gayna Williams' championship contender Noel's Gift in the $150,000 qualifier.
Sadly for connections of the four-year-old, though, Soul Secrets pulled up lame after that win and Crockett's next cab off the rank, Barbass, underwent an operation after the country heat, ruling him out of contention for the trip to Randwick too.
As a result, Ori On Fire earned a berth in the final and Crockett believes the super consistent gelding can add to his four career wins on the grandest stage of all.
"I feel like he was probably the best horse in the qualifier and one of the best on Saturday, too," Crockett said.
Ori On Fire will jump from barrier 11 for the final, which will start at 1.55pm on Saturday. Williams' chance, Noel's Gift has been drawn very wide in barrier 22.
Josh Parr has the ride on Noel's Gift while Robbie Dolan will reunite with Ori On Fire after steering Crockett's championship hopeful to victory at Randwick.
