"I'm going okay, you notice it a bit in your legs at times and the cart got me in the shin going down a hill the other day - which was an 'ouch'," he said.
"But you keep on walking regardless."
Greg travelled through Capertee, Rylstone, Lue and into Mudgee, before exiting the area through Gulgong along the Castlereagh Highway.
As he ventures north and the locations become a bit more sparse, he'll be camping on the nights that there's more than three days walk between towns.
You keep on walking regardless.
- Greg Chidgey
He said he decided on supporting MS having seen friends and former colleagues struck down by the degenerative, autoimmune disease that's left them wheelchair bound. Some diagnosed as early as their twenties.
Greg is also seeking a support driver, so if you see him walking while you're driving along, don't be shy to ask if he needs a hand. He said that he's had a few so far and it helps to lighten the load for him.
"I've had various people take the cart for me at different times, which frees me up," he said.
