Staged as part of the Henry Lawson Festival in Gulgong on the long weekend in June, the competition is open to photographers of all calibres. Photos can be entered into a range of categories including Landscape, Nature, People, Creative and Travel (a section created in honour of CCC past president and keen traveller, Sandy Smith).
Each year one of the categories is dedicated to a particular theme and this year it is 'After Dark', an open topic that allows for various interpretations.
Thanks to generous sponsorship by Goree Park a total of $1000 prize money is on offer, with $100 being awarded to the first place in all adult classes.
Closing date for entries is May 31 and the exhibition will open on the evening of June 7.
