Universities are forever complaining that they have insufficient funding yet here we have CSU about to spend $6-7 million on re-branding and a further $120 million "on helping to share the university's story".

As a graduate of the former Mitchell College, now part of CSU, I don't remember the story being that great to justify any expenditure let alone $120 million.
When choosing a uni to attend I would have thought the courses offered might be a major factor in the decision not the logo.
