Samantha Wills says that coming from a regional community gave her the edge to succeed.
"I grew up in regional Australia, it is the core of who I am," she Wills said.
"People from regional and rural areas acutely understand community, and it is community that is at the core of any successful brand. I feel very honoured at the point in my career to be able to work with young entrepreneurs from regional and rural areas."
According to a release from Council, Mayor, Des Kennedy said Council is committed to ensuring the region has a strong local economy and works hard to provide development opportunities such as the summit for local business.
"The summit will mentor, encourage and inspire young business owners (under 40 years) who wish to build or expand their business, or take over a family business," Cr Kennedy said.
Attendees will have be able to meet some of the speakers and hopefully make connections with fellow young business owners at a networking event following the summit.
The summit will be held at the Mudgee Town Hall Theatre on Thursday, July 25.
