It's that time of the year when paws flood walking paths across Australia in a bid to raise much needed funds for the prevention of animal cruelty.
This year, the RSPCA Million Paws Walk will celebrate its 25th anniversary on May 19 when walkers of all shapes, sizes and species set out to complete a course.
So far, a total of $607,819 has been raised nationally that has been donated to RSPCA branches across Australia respectively.
"In 2019, we walk towards a future free from neglect, cruelty and abuse," the Million Paws Walk website told.
For Mudgee entrants, the two kilometre wheelchair and pram friendly walk will commence at 8am from Lawson Park on May 19.
