Board Chairman, Alan Codrington has issued a statement to media.
I can confirm that CEO Fran Trisley has resigned from the role of CEO, and that Mrs Tania Sargent is now acting in the role, while recruitment is underway.
The board expects to make an appointment in the coming months. In the meantime, we will continue to provide our residents with the highest standard of care.
On behalf of the board I gratefully acknowledge Fran's contribution to Pioneer House over the last four and a half years. I thank her for her dedication and wish her well in her future endeavours.
Sources have confirmed to the Mudgee Guardian that the CEO of Pioneer House Aged Care in Mudgee, Fran Trisley, has stepped down.
In an email memo to staff obtained by the Mudgee Guardian, dated May 21, 2019, Board Chairman, Alan Codrington writes:
On behalf of the Board and Management of Pioneer House we now write to you all to advise that the CEO, Fran Trisley has tendered her resignation effective 20 May 2019. Fran and the Board have been working closely with the external advisors and the staff with the recent challenges that Pioneer House has faced.
The Board of Pioneer House would like to acknowledge Fran's contribution to the last 4.5 years and would like to thank her for her dedication as CEO to our organisation.
Fran Wishes to extend her thanks and farewell to all staff, volunteers and residents of Pioneer House and will remember her time here fondly.
Whilst Fran will leave the organisation today, we want to reassure staff that we are working with our advisors and will continue on the path to full compliance and thank you for all your hard work during this time.
We understand that this is a big change and we will keep you updated in relation to the recruitment process and the appointment of a new permanent CEO. In the meantime, Tania Sargent will take on the role of acting CEO and we thank her for stepping into this role temporarily. Any questions should be directed to Tania. we ask staff to continue to work with Tania in a positive way and we thank you for your patience at this time.
We look forward to continuing to provide excellent aged care services to our residents.
