It takes only minutes but could save hundreds of dollars a year.
Households can now save potentially hundreds of dollars a year on gas bills thanks to an expansion of the NSW Government's popular Energy Switch service.
Energy Switch helps ease the cost of living for families by helping them find the best deal.
Energy Switch works by using a customer's latest energy e-bill and comparing it with every retailer in NSW before presenting the top three plans available. If a switch is requested, Service NSW will make all the arrangements.
Last year, we saved 900,000 NSW households about $300 million through our NSW Government energy rebates and we're absolutely committed to reducing living costs, and delivering lower energy prices for NSW families.
Energy Switch is one of more than 40 NSW Government rebates and incentives easing the cost of living.
Others include cheaper Green Slips and refunds, $100 Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers and free registration for regular toll users.
People who have switched already, have saved an average of $431, visit www.energyswitch.service.nsw.gov.au.
Local cricket clubs to benefit
Cricket clubs and councils in the Bathurst Electorate can apply for $2 million in grants to help their local cricket community through Round 2 of the NSW ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Cricket Legacy Fund.
55 projects received $1.96 million in funding in Round 1 of the grant program in 2018, including Bathurst Regional Council and Blayney Shire Council. Round 2 will see another $2 million available for new facilities and programs to drive participation.
The NSW Government has ensured grassroots cricket in regional and suburban areas benefit from NSW hosting games at the women's and men's ICC T20 World Cup tournaments.
The T20 Legacy Fund is about giving back to local cricket clubs and I encourage clubs, associations and councils in the Bathurst electorate to take advantage of this once in a generation opportunity.
Applications for the NSW ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Legacy Fund will be open from May 28 - July 8. For further information on the Legacy Fund visit: https://sport.nsw.gov.au/clubs/grants/t20worldcupfund.

Cyber safe
Students, parents and teachers will now be better informed when it comes to engaging in positive, smart and safe online behaviour, thanks to the NSW Government's new Digital Citizenship website.
The new website will empower young people to be more responsible online, and aims to reduce the number of cyber-related issues youth encounter today.
The new website will equip students, teachers and parents in NSW with the skills and knowledge to minimise the risks associated with online engagement, whilst maximising the opportunities of our digital future.
