The formality comes almost a month since Gee celebrated his election victory at Orange City Bowling Club on May 18 with his family.
Mr Gee said in a press release that he was feeling energised about the next three years and that he was looking forward to continuing to deliver for the communities of the Central West.
"I'd like to thank the voters of Calare for putting their trust in me for another three years. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to represent Calare in the Australian Parliament," he said.
"It's a big responsibility and one I take very seriously,"
"It was an outstanding result locally, with a healthy swing towards The Nationals and a clean sweep of every booth in Calare but three,"
With the campaign over, it's now back to work! I'm very optimistic about what can be achieved over this term of government.

"With the campaign over, it's now back to work! I'm very optimistic about what can be achieved over this term of government."
It's worth noting that the swing Gee refers to is when comparing Two Candidate Preferred (TCP) numbers, with a +1.48 per cent seen to Gee with the inverse taking away from Labor candidate, Jess Jennings.
Looking at every party vying for Calare, the biggest swing was a significant +17.38 per cent for the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers party and its candidate, Orange councillor, Sam Romano.
The Nationals in fact saw a -2.87 per cent swing against them in Calare when compared with all parties.
The amount of first preference votes received for each candidate for Calare - with data from the Australian Electoral Commission - were:
- The Nationals - 46,632
- Labor - 23,074
- Shooters, Fishers and Farmers - 18,129
- The Greens - 6,315
- Liberal Democrats - 4,775
- United Australia Party - 3,371
- Christian Democratic Party - 1,992
Mr Gee said there were a number of issues he'd be working on over the next three years.
Among those listed were; 'continuing drought relief, a community legal centre for the Calare electorate, more local road funding, more capital funding for our aged care facilities, funding for local water security projects, continuing to clear up mobile phone black spots; and a range of other local infrastructure projects right around the electorate.'
