The Mudgee trainer scored a winning double at the massive showcase meeting, with the second of those being Skin Deep in one of the day's many feature events.
Samantha Clenton produced a gem of a ride aboard Skin Deep to win the Winter Country Classic Final Benchmark 58 Showcase Handicap (1300m).
Despite it being a major feature, it wasn't they day's most impressive win.
It wasn't even the most impressive win from the Williams stable.
Beeokay took out the Money Quest Open Showcase Handicap (1000m), motoring home to score a first win since linking with the Mudgee trainer.
"I'm really excited about him," Williams told Sky Thoroughbred Central.
"He came up from Victoria and he's a really honest little horse. The girls call him the pocket rocket and he's so genuine.
"He's really, really small but he doesn't know how small he is. He tries so hard and has a bit of ability, which helps."
Previously trained by Aaron Purcell in Victoria, Beeokay made the trip north having scored three wins in 13 career starts.
He made his first start for Williams at Gunnedah last month and flashed home late to finish second there.
Beeokay ($4.40) went one better on Friday, being ridden closer to the pace by Grant Buckley, and motored home on the extreme outside to win ahead of Absolute Ripper ($13) and Princess Lottie ($12).
That early win was followed by Skin Deep's victory later in the meeting.
After running third in his heat of the new series, Skin Deep rattled home well in the $40,000 final and won in a photo from Kody Nestor's Toulon Brook ($4) and Petain ($8).
"We were a little bit worried the 1300m was a bit short for him today but I said to Sam (Clenton) she had to get the bike early with him and she took the shortest way home," Williams said.
"It was a terrific ride and she should be the one to get all the accolades because it was an amazing ride."
The Winter Country Classic series was created to give country-trained horses the chance to race for more money and it was welcomed greatly by all trainers.
"It's a great initiative from Dubbo Turf Club," Williams said.
