The 19-year-old was recently selected to join the 2019 NSW Country Colts side despite only just returning back to the sport.
Lee injured his knee last year in a pre-season trial match for Central West, and says while only just back, he is already 'loving it'.
"It's my first time back in 15 to 16 months and I'm loving it," he said.
Lee, who has played the sport for 12 years, received the call last Sunday and admits he was expecting it after his showing at the Country Championships.
I was hoping for the phone call. I was kind of waiting for it, I had my fingers crossed.

The Mudgee Guardian asked Harry how one, despite already making the Central West side, manages to get selected for the NSW Country Colts team, and he says there's a lot to do with being the best you can be.
"You just have to play better than the other people in your position. You have got to be the best one out there to try and get noticed," the prop said.
If I can perform to the best of my ability, I should always be in with a shot to make the side.
The NSW Country Colts will have a camp towards the end of July, trimming down the team before heading off to the Australian Championships.
"You've just got to be positive and try and push through to be better than everyone else," Harry spoke of the camp and the process of players being trimmed.
