With two years of soccer under his belt, Leo Wrigley has no plan on hanging up the boots anytime soon with the family sport the spark of his weekend.
The eight-year-old, who plays for Sam Lynch Electrical in the Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC competition, says while he loves soccer as a whole, there are, however, two things that stand out.
"I like kicking the ball the most and scoring goals," he said.
"But, I am just happy to play."
Leo isn't the only Wrigley to play in the Wolves competition as his younger brother Sam also plays the Saturday sport.
When asked who is the better soccer player, Leo maintained his modesty by nominating his brother Sam who plays for Mudgee Little Learners.
"Sam is better because he scores a lot of goals," Leo said.
The future mechanic and current St Matthew's Catholic School student told the Mudgee Guardian that his favourite team in the whole world has to be his very own, Sam Lynch Electrical.

Wrigley encourages other kids to get involved in soccer and ensures there are many benefits.
"I think other kids should play because it's better exercise, it's a good sport," he said.
